The MD Keyboard extension for iOS is designed specifically for doctors and clinicians. Once added through your Settings, it functions as a standard keyboard in popular apps like Email, Notes, and Messaging.
The MD Keyboard gives you access to a comprehensive medical database powered by cognitive AI. This enables you to seamlessly search for information and incorporate findings directly into your text, providing instant expertise across various applications. By creating a complimentary @Point of Care account, users can even earn CME credits while utilizing the keyboard or integrate links to related content into their text flow.
In addition to its rich medical database integration, MD Keyboard features a dynamic medical dictionary for predictive input and autocompletion, encompassing an extensive array of drug names. Moreover, the keyboard offers an array of key alternates, allowing users to easily access common medical abbreviations and scientific symbols through prolonged key presses.
Enhancing its functionality further is the Utility Mode, providing access to specialized tools. This currently includes a convenient calculator that directly inputs numerical results into the active field, eliminating the need to switch to a separate app for basic calculations. Additionally, the keyboard offers tools like a BMI calculator and an Ideal Body Weight calculator.
The MD Keyboard aims to be an essential tool for medical professionals, seamlessly integrating into any app they use.
